Vitor Claro Dominó Salão Frio Red is a distinctive wine made from a blend of Grand Noir, Alicante Bouschet, Aragonés, Trincadeira, Arinto and Tamarez grapes. These varieties come from 50-80 year old vines rooted in the village of Salão Frio, reflecting the region's deep viticultural heritage.

The winemaking process involves crushing the whole grape, followed by 10 days of maceration and fermentation with all the solids intact. After pressing, the wine continues to ferment in concrete vats, benefiting from their neutral properties. The wine is naturally clarified by decanting after each winter, thus preserving its authenticity and purity.

This red wine is an elegant expression of old vines and minimal intervention winemaking, delivering a unique flavour profile that honours tradition while embracing simplicity.
