In the heart of the Anjou Noir region, Benoit Courault is a farmer and winemaker who constantly tends his vines. The natural wines he produces are subtle and lively. They are among the best in the Loire.
The 'Le Petit Chemin' cuvée is a 100% Chenin from a blend of several small plots. It is vinified without the use of any additives and then aged in tuns for 6 months.
Le Petit Chemin 2023: The nose is open and spring-like, with notes of fruit and white flowers. The palate offers a fine balance between sweetness and freshness. The finish is lovely, clean and mineral. A fine Chenin at a reasonable price.
