Château Léoville Poyferré 2014 is a complex Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, Médoc. The blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot gives the wine an unmistakable profile. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrants, cherries and fine cedar wood, complemented by notes of eucalyptus and tobacco. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, with ripe tannins and a perfectly integrated acidity structure. The finish is long and elegant, with mineral and spicy notes. With excellent cellaring potential until 2045, this wine offers maximum pleasure for Bordeaux lovers.
